Belli's visit to Sturgis, August 2016

(Updated: 9 Aug 2016)

Still Under Construction But This is a Good Start.

Every year I attend the Continuing Legal Education courses
put on by the Street Legal Motorcycle Club of Minnesota during
Bike Week in Sturgis, SD.

This year we stayed in the Pondarosa Cabin at Blue Bonnet Lodge
which is located in Custer State Park -- where the buffalo roam.
The courses take place in the morning which gives me the
freedom to ride the Black Hills of South Dakota and walk
the streets of Sturgis. Join me on this year's adventure.

It started on Thursday night at our August social

01. This month we are at "The Joint"

02. Looks like most of the group is home packing.

We met for breakfast on Friday Morning in Jordan

On Saturday we ride to our destination: Blue Bell Lodge, Custer State Park

20. I made my traditional stop at Wall Drug.

21. Some took the Badlands route.

22. Rocinante had a burned out headlight
which needed repair.

23. We all ended up on the Ponderosa Cabin
porch where we would spend the next week.

which showed little light in the large caverns.

64. Wind Cave was discovered through this opening
from which a constant wind was blowing out.

65.

66.

67. We were told there are not many bats in this
cave because it doesn't get cold enough in the winter
for them to hibernate. I took a picture of the ceiling.

68. Unbeknownst to me, I got a picture of the bat.
