Prologue: This story starts in May, 1970, when I was serving with the 4th Armored Division, US Army, in Germany. Fran and I took a four day trip to Paris to celebrate Memorial Day. I was so excited to see all the sites of Paris that I ran Fran ragged. She kept insisting that we should stop to enjoy the sights over a glass of wine and some cheese. I promised that one day I would bring her back to France and she could have all the wine and cheese she desired. This was the trip - 35 years later.
