USS Kittiwake
Sunk at Grand Cayman Island
December, 2010
For many years Grand Cayman lacked a credible "shipwreck" so the dive shops
purchased a U.S. Navy Ship and sunk it offshore in 100 feet of water.
Rob was one of the first to dive the new site.

The Oro Verde

March 8, 2011
Meaning "yellow gold" a drug smuggling ship
was captured off the coast of Cayman many
years ago and turned into a diving location

but the salt water and the hurricanes took
their toll and it has disinterrgrated and
lost its allure as a dive site.

Ore Verde is in only 50 feet of water.
Not a good dive location, it gets beat up
by rolling seas in hurricane season.
